Privacy Policy
Overview
Portico ("we", "us") is a small consulting practice. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit portico.com or contact us, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible and never sell it to third parties.
Information we collect
- Contact form submissions. When you fill out the form on /contact we store the name, work email address, and message you provide so we can reply.
- Email correspondence. Messages you send to hello@portico.com are retained in our inbox for as long as we have an active relationship with you.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) for security and debugging. These logs are rotated within 30 days.
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or cross-site cookies on this site.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit only to respond to your inquiry, deliver work you have engaged us for, and keep our records of client communications. We never share or sell your information with third parties for marketing.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months from the date of submission, after which they are deleted unless we have entered into an active engagement with you. You can ask us to delete your record at any time.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@portico.com. We will respond within 30 days.
